Alcorn State’s Anthony Williams Jr.: Versatile DB with a proven playmaking itch
Anthony Williams Jr. is a senior defensive back for Alcorn State who brings experience, versatility, and ball-hawking upside; ESPN lists him with 5 career interceptions, a strong indicator of instincts and closing speed. His background notes also show a well-traveled college path and a competitive edge that tends to matter in the SWAC—he’s the kind of defender who can help a secondary communicate, tackle, and flip momentum with one takeaway. If your team wants a veteran DB who plays with urgency and can create turnovers, he fits the bill.
