Ekkelboom adds a compact right-handed arm with recent bullpen success
Jaren Ekkelboom is a redshirt junior right-handed pitcher for Pacific who brings a shorter, sturdy 5-foot-10, 190-pound build and recent bullpen production, including five saves in 18 appearances at Folsom Lake in 2025; he also logged strong summer-league results with Rochester, flashing strike-throwing and bat-missing ability. He appears to fit a relief role rather than a power-profile starter, making him interesting for teams that value competitive, low-maintenance bullpen depth and a pitcher with some proven late-inning experience.
