Derrick Bean brings veteran, downhill toughness to Arkansas State’s linebacker room
Derrick Bean is a seasoned Arkansas State linebacker with a track record of steady production and experience, including 32 tackles in the 2018 season and 20 tackles in the 2020 season, plus four tackles in six games in the 2021 season. His value is in reliability, physicality, and knowing how to hold up in a rotation, rather than eye-popping splash stats. At 6-2 and around 232 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy, assignment-sound defender who can help a roster with maturity, special-teams utility, and blue-collar consistency.
