Resilient Shooting Guard with Elite Playmaking and Grit
Jawann McClellan, a 6-5, 210-pound shooting guard from Houston, TX, stands out not just for his 8.4 PPG and 2.7 APG in the 2025-26 season, but for his extraordinary resilience. He overcame chronic knee injuries, depression, and the death of a loved one during his four-year Arizona tenure, averaging 7.7 PPG and 3.3 RPG while maintaining a 1.48 assist-to-turnover ratio. His differentiator is his intensity: he dishes 7 assists in key wins like the 74-58 victory over San Diego State, showing elite court vision and defensive hustle (0.6 STL, 0.6 BLK). McClellan’s personality—content, driven, and battle-tested—makes him a perfect fit for teams needing a guard who thrives under pressure and elevates teammates with his playmaking and unshakable spirit.
