Beau Atkinson brings rare size and proven edge-rush production to Ohio State
At 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, Beau Atkinson gives Ohio State a long, disruptive defensive end who already showed pass-rush juice at North Carolina and arrived as one of the spring portal’s top available defenders in 2025. In the 2025 season at Ohio State, he logged 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 2.5 tackles for loss, while his earlier career included a 3.5-sack game at Virginia in 2024—proof he can flash real takeover ability. He fits teams that want length, effort, and developmental upside on the edge.
