Experienced UNLV DB with local roots and roster value
Malachi Miles is a Las Vegas-born UNLV defensive back whose value is tied more to fit, familiarity, and depth than headline-grabbing box-score production. ESPN lists him as the Rebels’ No. 19 DB, while UNLV’s roster lists him at 5-foot-8 and shows no available season or career stats, which suggests his current impact is difficult to measure publicly and may come from practice intensity, special-teams value, or scheme reliability rather than volume numbers. He looks like a compact, local, system-fit defender who can help a team that prioritizes speed, toughness, and developmental upside over size.
