Maryland’s ball-hawking DB turned NFL veteran playmaker
J.C. Jackson’s Maryland tape still stands out for **playmaking instincts** and **ball production**: as a Terp, he started 23 of 24 games with 4 interceptions, 13 pass breakups, and 80 tackles, which shows a defender who can challenge throws and finish plays. He’s the kind of defensive back teams like for his aggressive coverage style and experience, though his pro track record has included injury interruptions and a 2024 NFL suspension, so fit matters if you need dependable depth and secondary versatility rather than a clean durability profile.
