Indiana State’s Hannah Welch brings defensive value and versatile athlete juice
Welch is a useful roster fit because Indiana State lists her as an INF/OF with a 5'7" right-handed profile, and the program’s notes show she contributed as a multi-use player who appeared in 40 games as a freshman in 2023 and added run production, steals, and consistent availability. Her bigger differentiator is versatility: she has also earned all-defensive recognition in her broader athletic background, which suggests dependable glove work and coach-friendly reliability. If you want a player who can cover spots, compete hard, and add lineup flexibility, Welch makes sense.
