veteran linebacker body, but current Charlotte role is unclear
Sean Bernard is a seasoned linebacker whose profile suggests size, experience, and downhill physicality rather than splashy production; Charlotte’s 2026 roster listings show a linebacker room with multiple players and do not clearly place Bernard among the top published stat leaders, so his current on-field impact is hard to verify from public team stats alone. The main reasons to care: if he’s active, he brings the kind of sturdy, gap-filling LB presence coaches trust on special teams and run defense. If a team wants instant-star flash, he’s probably not that guy; if it wants a reliable, experienced piece, he’s a sensible watch-list name.
