Josh Ziebell brings freshman size and early-career upside to Valpo’s secondary
Josh Ziebell is a 6-2, 195-pound freshman defensive back for Valparaiso who arrived with three varsity letters and 2025 all-conference honors after leading all defensive backs in Wisconsin’s largest conference. His profile screams length, physicality, and room to grow, which makes him an intriguing developmental fit for a defense that values versatility in the back end. With no meaningful college stat line yet, the appeal is the upside: a bigger DB who already proved he can stand out against top high school competition.
