Versatile Forward with Sun Belt Pedigree Now in Coaching
Roger Woods wrapped up his Little Rock playing career as a reliable two-way forward who earned 2016 All-Sun Belt Third Team honors and Sun Belt Tournament MVP recognition. The 6-5 Jackson, Mississippi native averaged 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds as a senior (2015-16), shooting 47.6% from the floor and a solid 44.8% from three. Known for his basketball IQ and work ethic under coach Chris Beard's system, Woods has transitioned into coaching, bringing firsthand experience of high-level program development. His combination of positional versatility, shooting range, and competitive mentality makes him an intriguing prospect for programs seeking a forward who understands modern spacing demands.
