Resilient DL Transfer Bringing Toughness to EIU Panthers
Christian Takatch, a 6'3", 230-lb defensive lineman from Big Walnut HS, transferred to Eastern Illinois after injury setbacks at Notre Dame College (1 tackle in 2022) and now reps the Panthers with bounce-back grit and faith-driven determination. High school All-Conference/District honors in football, wrestling, and baseball highlight his multi-sport intensity and versatility as DT/DE—perfect for teams needing a tough, character-rich interior disruptor who thrives post-adversity.
