Jordan Poole brings proven linebacker production and special-teams value to Southern Illinois
Poole offers a useful blend of **production** and **versatility**: ESPN lists him with **17 total tackles**, **1 pass breakup**, and **1 receiving touchdown** in his college career, which signals a player who can contribute beyond just traditional linebacker duties[2]. His background includes a notable position shift earlier in his career, suggesting adaptability and football IQ rather than a one-role profile[9][13]. For a team looking for a tough, multi-phase defender who can help on special teams and cover a little ground, he looks like a practical fit rather than a headline-grabber[2][9].
