Brady Sasse is emerging as Toledo’s high-upside, workhorse RHP
In the 2026 season, Brady Sasse entered the year ranked No. 130 among D1Baseball’s top starting pitchers and followed that up with a sharp Opening Day outing: 6.0 innings, 2 hits, 1 run, 0 earned runs, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts against Memphis.[6][8] The 6-foot-5, right-handed sophomore brings a big starter’s frame, a quick arm, and easy-effort delivery, and he was already proven in 2025 with a 3.51 ERA, 43 strikeouts, only 15 walks, and MAC Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors before an injury cut his season short.[4][6][10]
