2010 Lafayette DL with Patriot League Honors and 12-Tackle Breakout
Zach Protin, a 6-3 defensive lineman for the Lafayette Leopards, earned his first varsity letter in 2010 after playing nine games and recording 12 total tackles—including one for loss—while being named to the Patriot League honors list. His differentiators include exceptional intensity on the field, a relentless pursuit of the ball, and a team-first personality that anchors the defensive line. Though his stats are modest, Protin’s injury history is clean, and his high-intensity style makes him a reliable fit for teams needing a durable, hard-nosed DL who brings consistent pressure and leadership. He’s a good fit for any squad valuing grit over flash.
