veteran lefty shooter with proven scoring touch
Charity Shears brings a clear shooting identity: in the 2022-23 season at La Salle, she averaged 7.0 points in 24.7 minutes per game, hit 29.3% from three and 77.5% at the line, and gave the Explorers a left-handed guard with range and experience[1][2]. Earlier in her career at West Virginia State, she was a second-team All-MEC scorer and a record-level perimeter threat, which matches the “can put the ball in the basket” praise from La Salle’s staff[2][3]. If you need a spacing guard who has been trusted in real rotations, Shears is the kind of steady fit coaches like to have around[1][2].
