Brian Mayer’s value is in the snap: a specialist role with a premium on precision
Brian Mayer is a Northern Illinois long snapper, a role where consistency, speed, and clean operation matter more than flashy stat lines. Publicly available game-impact data on him is limited, so the best read is that his value comes from doing the small, high-pressure details right on every punt and field goal snap. For a roster fit, he profiles as a specialist whose appeal is dependability, practice discipline, and special-teams execution rather than headline-grabbing production.
