Emily Thomas brings steady guard depth and early-career promise to UNCW
Emily Thomas is a **5-foot-6 guard** for UNCW who showed early promise by appearing in 20 games with four starts as a freshman, giving the Seahawks a compact, versatile backcourt option with room to grow.[1][5] Her value is more about **reliability, guard skills, and developmental upside** than box-score noise, since the available UNCW bio shows modest freshman production but confirms she earned real rotation minutes.[5] If you need a poised depth guard who can develop into a dependable connector rather than a high-usage scorer, she is the kind of fit that can quietly stabilize a roster.[1][5]
