7-Foot Rim Protector With Old-School Post Value
Muniru Bawa is a 7-foot center with a classic big-man profile: size, shot-blocking, rebounding, and physicality. In his Tennessee State stint, he showed limited but real defensive value—sports-reference lists him as a center from Indiana and Tennessee State, while Tennessee State’s archive shows he averaged 0.6 points and 0.6 rebounds in his TSU season and logged 5 blocks in 19 games at Indiana. Coaches described him as a “defensive presence” who could help as a post defender and rebounder, which is the kind of low-usage, high-job-specific fit that can quietly matter.
