Marcus Haynes gives Hampton a big-bodied interior anchor with proven run-game value
In the 2025 season, Hampton listed Marcus Haynes at 6-4, 300 pounds as a junior offensive lineman, and the Pirates credited him as part of a front that helped the team average 154.8 rushing yards per game after another season at 148.1 rushing yards per game the year before. His value is less about splash stats and more about movement, size, and stability: he’s helping create a run-game foundation, and Hampton’s notes tie him to the line that produced the program’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2009. If your team wants a physical, experienced OL with clear run-blocking impact, he’s worth a serious look.
