Jordan Stanton was a tackling machine for Wyoming
In the 2014 season, Wyoming linebacker Jordan Stanton was one of the Mountain West’s most disruptive defenders, returning after ranking third in the nation in tackles the previous year and earning MW Defensive Player of the Week honors for a 13-tackle, sack-heavy outing against Air Force. His game was built on range, volume, and instinct—he consistently showed up around the ball, added splash plays in the backfield, and even scored on an interception return. For a team wanting a high-motor MIKE linebacker with proven production and real playmaking juice, Stanton was the kind of old-school enforcer who makes offenses miserable.
