Solomon Ray brings size, defensive activity, and depth value for Grambling State
In the 2024-25 season, Solomon Ray gave Grambling State a 6'10", 235-pound frontcourt body who played 11 games and averaged 5.9 minutes, 2.1 rebounds, 0.4 blocks, and 0.2 steals per game, with most of his value coming on defense and the glass rather than scoring.[1][13][15] He is a low-usage, high-size role player who can help a team by protecting the rim, contesting shots, and doing the dirty work—useful if you need length and energy more than instant offense.[10][11][14]
