Southeastern Louisiana Lions DL with Proven High School Pedigree, Limited College Impact
Taylor Cochran, a 6-3, 310-pound defensive lineman from St. Charles Catholic (LA), earned 2011 Defensive Player of the Year honors (riverparishfootball.com) and LSWA Class 3A All-State first-team accolades with dominant high school tape showcasing power and quickness; at Southeastern Louisiana (2013-16), he appeared sparingly—redshirted 2014, played one game in 2015 (1 tackle vs. SFA), none in 2016—highlighting a player with raw strength and motor who faded post-recruiting (On3 #79.49 rank). Ideal depth fit for teams needing developmental intensity, but unproven at college level.
