veteran Cal Poly guard with steady, senior-point-guard poise
Kyla Howell’s appeal is the kind coaches love: experienced, composed backcourt play with enough senior savvy to stabilize a game when things get messy. A Mustang News game recap noted her as the senior point guard who capitalized on key turnovers in a tight 53-48 win, and earlier coverage highlighted that Cal Poly leaned on her scoring presence as a guard. She projects as a fit for teams that value toughness, ball security, and a dependable organizer more than flashy volume stats.
