Justin Melhado brings veteran DB grit to Duquesne
Justin Melhado has been a seasoned presence in Duquesne’s secondary, listed as a defensive back in the 2009-2010 seasons and appearing in game participation/box-score data for the Dukes[1][2][3]. The main reason to care: he looks like the kind of experienced, assignment-sound defender who fits a team needing toughness, reliability, and special-teams-ready physicality rather than flashy headline stats[2][3]. There isn’t enough recent public stat detail here to credibly label current rankings or season-year production, but the available record suggests a player valued for consistency and depth in the back end[1][7].
