a rugged 6-foot-8 post option with sleeper value for WSU
Dave Wink’s profile is that of a classic physical center: 6-foot-8, 245 pounds, originally a walk-on/post addition for Washington State, and once described by ESPN recruiting analysis as a West Coast sleeper with a Division I frame and decent size. His appeal is mostly in his toughness, body type, and old-school interior fit rather than flashy box-score production; ESPN’s player page lists only minimal statistical output, which suggests he’s more about role fit and depth than headline numbers. If a team wants size, effort, and a low-drama paint presence, Wink is worth a look.
