Jonny Stevens gives MTSU a veteran bullpen arm with strike-throwing upside
Jonny Stevens, a redshirt senior RHP for Middle Tennessee, profiles as an experienced depth piece who can soak up innings and keep the game moving—he’s listed at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds and brings a steady, battle-tested background from Walters State and MTSU. In the 2025 season, he made 17 appearances and logged a 9.27 ERA, but he still earned a 3-0 record in a relief role and was trusted in multiple late-game spots. The fit question: if a team wants a mature arm with some college mileage and a low-drama mound presence, he’s worth a look.
