Sideline-to-sideline linebacker with early Redbird impact
Greg Helle has been described by Illinois State as a linebacker who can make plays "from sideline-to-sideline," a trait that points to range, pursuit speed, and active run support rather than just box-score production.[1] He also arrived with a strong pedigree, earning second-team All-America honors in high school and piling up 151 tackles, which suggests a player wired for production and physicality.[5] For a team, that makes him the kind of LB who fits aggressive defenses that value effort, coverage range, and reliability in space.
