Tony Colston is the Pioneers’ precision-passing benchmark
Tony Colston is remembered at Tusculum as a high-efficiency quarterback who built his reputation on accuracy, command, and production, finishing his college career as the program’s most prolific passer with 6,207 passing yards, 544 completions, and a .635 completion rate. His differentiator was consistency under pressure: he helped lead Tusculum to its first conference championship in 2002 and was noted for both passing efficiency and big-game output, including a 419-yard performance and a .708 single-season completion rate in 2004. He looks like a fit for teams valuing poise, efficiency, and experienced leadership over flash.
