Penn Quakers' Steady Veteran Guard with Modest Production
Duane King, a 6-5 guard for the Penn Quakers who wrapped up his senior year in 2003 undrafted and now a 44-year-old unrestricted free agent, posted career NCAA averages of 1.2 PPG, 1.1 RPG, and 0.2 APG with 35.0% FG shooting per RealGM, or slightly higher 1.6 PPG and 40.4% FG per ESPN—solid bench contributions from a reliable, undersized wing without standout differentiators like elite scoring or defense. No injury concerns noted, but his low-impact stats and age suggest he's not a game-changer; a low-risk depth piece for teams needing veteran poise, though unlikely to crack modern rotations.
