Joe Savoie is a proven, versatile SFA defender with a playmaking edge
Joe Savoie’s profile for Stephen F. Austin shows a linebacker who brings versatility and a nose for impact plays, with ESPN listing him as a linebacker and noting career defensive production for the Lumberjacks in the 2007-2009 span. Reliable public records also show he was originally an Army transfer and that SFA valued his experience and two remaining years of eligibility when it added him, a sign of maturity, adaptability, and coach-trust appeal. If you need a steady, physical LB who understands the game and can help stabilize a room, Savoie fits that mold.
