Idaho State DB Marcell Lagrone Brings Coverage Flexibility and Playmaking Upside
Marcell Lagrone’s value is the kind coaches love: a defensive back who can help in coverage, flash ball skills, and fit into multiple roles in the secondary. I could not verify reliable public 2026 game-by-game production for Idaho State from the available results, but the best fit here is a DB who projects as a steady, versatile option if he shows consistent tackling, route recognition, and discipline in space. If your team wants a flexible defensive back with upside rather than a pure stat-stuffer, he’s worth a closer look.
