Steady, academic-minded linebacker depth for Eastern Washington
Rusty Haehl profiles as a reliable, low-flash linebacker/special-teams contributor rather than a headline-grabber; in 2012 he appeared in 11 games for Eastern Washington and recorded 15 tackles, including three in three different games, which points to dependable rotational value[4]. He also earned Big Sky Fall All-Academic honors with a 3.2 GPA, a useful indicator of discipline and coachability[1]. If you want a depth piece who brings effort, consistency, and off-field maturity, Haehl is the kind of fit that helps a room more than the box score suggests[4][1].
