Columbia DB Mason Tomlin brings nickelback versatility and steady production
Mason Tomlin is a compact, experienced Columbia defensive back who played in seven games in 2023, made one start, and posted 13 tackles with two pass breakups as a nickelback, suggesting he can handle multiple coverage responsibilities and contribute in space.[5] At 5'8" and 170 pounds, his fit is about quickness, instincts, and reliability rather than pure size, and he also comes from a high-profile football family, which adds to the spotlight but not the tape.[1][5]
