Physical, high-upside catcher with pro-culture upside
Liam Kirsh is a 5-foot-11, 205-pound right-handed catcher who arrived at Indiana State as a true freshman from Ontario and was described in pregame materials as a strong present-day defender with a developing offensive profile. He’s the kind of backstop teams watch for toughness, receiving upside, and added physicality rather than flashy stat lines, and his summer-baseball assignment with Brooks suggests he’s staying active and getting reps. If you want a catcher who brings grit, durability, and room to grow, Kirsh is worth a look.
