Redshirt Senior DB with Special Teams Grit for Troy Trojans
Sam Sellers, a 5-10, 190-lb Redshirt Senior DB from Troy, AL, played 13 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams contributor in the 2024 season, crediting three tackles including two in the Arkansas State win. His differentiator is relentless intensity and versatility—shifting seamlessly between DB and special teams with a 'big boy' mentality praised by coaches. Though not a stat leader, Sellers brings high-intensity personality traits, no injury history, and a loyal, hard-nosed approach that makes him a perfect fit for teams needing depth and grit. Care about him for his unwavering commitment and team-first DNA, not flashy stats.
