Mike Woods brings veteran toughness and late-season lift for Navy
In the 2025-26 season, Navy senior forward Mike Woods is the kind of glue guy coaches love: a captain, a physical undersized post presence, and a steady rebounder who can give the Mids timely scoring when he’s rolling. He averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in Patriot League play in 2025 after returning from an injury that cost him the first two league games, then surged to 9.1 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 64% over a seven-game stretch. If you want toughness, leadership, and a player who’s been battle-tested, Woods fits the bill.
