Taivon Butler brings NFL-caliber burst and disruptive upside to Bethune-Cookman’s defensive front
Taivon Butler profiles as a high-upside **DL** because of his explosive first step, strong acceleration, and disruptive play profile rather than pure size-based dominance, with EA Sports listing elite movement traits for a defender and solid tackling/pursuit indicators. His appeal is the kind of front-seven juice that can collapse pockets, chase plays down from the back side, and add energy to a defense; the main question for a team is consistency and conversion of athletic traits into steady production. Reliable public production data on his Bethune-Cookman impact is limited, so the best read is that he looks like a developmental pass-rush/penetration piece more than a finished product.
