Javion Heard brings proven playmaking and disruptive edge presence to ETSU
Javion Heard is a battle-tested defensive end whose calling card is disruption: ETSU lists him with 165 career tackles, 12.5 sacks, and 9 forced fumbles through the 2020-21 roster profile, and his MaxPreps prep stats show active production with 22 total tackles in 4 games during 2023-24. What makes him intriguing is the combination of motor, ball-stripping instincts, and high-end tackling volume from the edge—traits that translate beyond box-score numbers. He looks like a fit for teams wanting an energetic, physical DE who can impact both the run game and pressure packages.
