Brantley Upshaw is a towering, power-arm righty still finding his college footing
In the 2026 season, Georgia State’s 6-foot-7 redshirt freshman Brantley Upshaw has flashed a pro-style frame and an arm slot that helped make him a top-500 Perfect Game prospect out of high school, with a low-90s fastball and splitter noted in his signing profile[1][3]. His college results are still developing—his 2025 debut season featured 2.2 innings across three relief outings with a 13.50 ERA, and Georgia State’s 2026 stats show a 4.0-inning sample with strikeout stuff but shaky command[1][2]. He looks like a fit for a team that can be patient with a high-upside strike-thrower who has size, leverage, and bullpen intrigue[1][3].
