Sophomore OF with All-League Pedigree and Team Captain Intensity
Ava Tabangcura, a 5-9 sophomore outfielder for Quinnipiac, stands out not just for her 25-game starting appearance and 7 scored runs in 2026, but for her elite intensity and leadership as the 2024 Team Captain and All-League honoree. Her differentiator is her relentless competitive fire—evident from her 2022 CIF-SS Champion high school pedigree—paired with a personality that elevates teammates under pressure. While her 2026 batting stats show a .000 average (likely early-season or limited opportunities), her track record of consistency and captain-level maturity makes her a perfect fit for teams needing a high-intensity, reliable OF who thrives in clutch moments. No injury history reported; her value lies in intangibles stats can't capture.
