Arizona’s bruising home-run back whose best work came early
In the 2014 season, Nick Wilson burst onto the scene for Arizona with 1,375 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, flashing rare big-play juice and finish at the goal line. His calling card was explosiveness, vision, and the ability to turn a normal carry into a stadium-silencer. The caution flag is durability: his career was repeatedly slowed by foot and knee issues, and later seasons never matched that freshman peak. If a team wants a high-upside runner with proven production and real toughness, Wilson is easy to like—just with a very real medical asterisk.
