Texas Southern’s **Demontrae Jefferson** is a lightning-quick, high-usage scoring guard
Jefferson has been a proven bucket-getter for Texas Southern, highlighted by a 19.1 points-per-game profile in ESPN’s player page and a history of big-game flashes, including 27 points in his first college game and 25 points in an NCAA First Four win over NC Central.[4][1][2] His differentiators are his **speed**, **fearlessness**, and ability to create offense despite being a smaller guard, which makes him a tough cover in space and a momentum-changer when he gets hot.[1][8] He looks like a fit for a team that wants an aggressive, confident shot-creator who can carry scoring load, though his style leans more toward instant offense than size-driven two-way control.[1][4]
