Kai Hudson brings versatile depth and steady defensive value to UMES
In the 2025 season, Kai Hudson appeared in 21 games for Maryland-Eastern Shore, showing value as a flexible utility player with 15 putouts and 8 assists in limited at-bats; the profile points to a contact-oriented, do-the-little-things contributor rather than a loud stat-sheet star.[2] Hudson’s background also suggests upside: she arrived with strong prep recognition, including District 14-4A Pitcher of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors, signaling competitiveness and two-way athleticism.[1]
