Davidson LB with the kind of downhill edge coaches love
Kenneth Devenney is listed on Davidson’s football roster as a linebacker, but there isn’t enough publicly available 2026 stat-line detail to responsibly crown him a box-score monster just yet[5][11]. What stands out is the linebacker fit itself: if he’s on the field for Davidson, he’s being asked to bring tackling urgency, physicality, and assignment discipline in a program that leans on tough, defense-first football. For a team looking for a steady, instinctive front-seven piece rather than a flashy headline grabber, he looks like the kind of blue-collar addition that can quietly earn trust.
