Geno West gives Idaho a steady, injury-hit backcourt spark
In his 2023-24 season at Idaho, Geno West appeared in 27 games and made 9 starts before an injury ended his year early, but he still averaged 7.5 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. The appeal here is his combo-guard value: he can create a bit, handle pressure, and bring energy, which is the kind of glue-play that helps a roster breathe. The injury history is the main caveat, but when healthy he looks like a useful, competitive rotational fit.
