Khyair Spain is giving SEMO a versatile, efficient RB spark
In the 2026 season, Khyair Spain has been one of Southeast Missouri State’s most useful offensive pieces, leading the Redhawks with 176 rushing yards and adding 46 carries, 35 receiving yards, and 1 rushing touchdown through early September. He has already shown a little burst-play upside, with a 44-yard run on the season, and he’s been dependable in the passing game out of the backfield. At 5-6 and 207 pounds, Spain brings a compact, low-center-of-gravity style that fits a physical, keep-your-footing run game—nice little “move the chains and annoy linebackers” profile.
