Big, experienced QB with proven production and a winning résumé
Morrissey is a transfer quarterback, not a safety, whose best selling points are size, experience, and a track record of productive college snaps: he passed for 2,088 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024 at Eastern Kentucky after a 1,981-yard, 13-TD season at Western Illinois in 2023. He also has JUCO All-American credentials and earned all-conference academic recognition, which fits the profile of a poised, mature locker-room fit. If you want a proven distributor with enough athleticism to add occasional run-game value, he’s worth a serious look—but he’s more “steady and seasoned” than explosive. [7][11][16]
