Western Kentucky's Rising DB Star with NFL-Caliber Ball Skills
L.A. O'Neal, Western Kentucky's standout defensive back, has been a lockdown presence in the secondary during the 2025 season, leveraging elite ball-hawking instincts and physicality reminiscent of Leon O'Neal Jr.'s NFL skillset highlighted at the Senior Bowl. His differentiators include rare recovery speed post-contact and a high-motor intensity that disrupts passing games, making him a scheme-versatile fit for aggressive defenses. No major injury history, with scouts praising his leadership and film study habits—prime target for teams needing immediate-impact DB depth.
