Blair Gillard brings veteran edge and frontcourt toughness to Houston Christian
Blair Gillard is a 6-foot-1 forward whose value shows up in the dirty work: physical defense, rebounding, and efficient interior scoring. In her Houston Christian career, she was recognized for high-block production and reliable two-way presence, including league-leading block numbers in volleyball before transitioning to hoops, which speaks to her competitive motor and timing. She looks like the kind of glue player who raises a team’s intensity, fits well in a defense-first system, and gives coaches a dependable, no-fuss option when they need toughness more than flash.
